The second act is always a challenge in any script, any genre.    This seminar will offer practical strategies for tackling that pivotal 60 pages between the first and second act breaks. It will give examples of how to interweave and use subplots to advantage, how to maintain a steady movement from dramatic "pluses" to "minuses," and how to move your protagonist realistically through the bulk of his or her arc.  Drawing examples from several genres, we will break this down step by step.
